Douglas K. Howser, 69, of Sanbornville, NH, passed away peacefully, Thursday morning, October 13, 2022, at his sister’s home in North Billerica.
He was born in Brookline on November 4, 1952, the son of Emily E. (Streitmater) Howser of North Billerica and the late Donald G. Howser. He was raised in Billerica prior to moving to New Hampshire and moved back to Billerica three years ago.
Douglas enjoyed fishing, camping, music, and time spent with his sons and grandson. Mr. Howser spent most of his adult life working as a carpenter and general contractor. At other times he was employed as an inventory manager and in sales as a territory manager.
In addition to his mother, Douglas is survived by his children, Derek Howser, Jason Howser and Evan Howser all of Sanbornville, NH, brother, Lawrence Howser of Wales, U.K., three sisters, Diana Foster of Northwood, NH, Rena Scott of Bushnell, FL, and Anne Howser of North Billerica, a grandson Cristian Jensen – Howser, 7 nieces and nephews, 3 grandnieces and 1 grandnephew.
A funeral service will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 10 St. Mark's Rd., Burlington on Saturday October 22nd at 11 am. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., Lawrence, MA 01843.
