Obituary for Dorothy H. Figelski
BILLERICA - Dorothy H. (Nowicki) Figelski, age 76, beloved wife of Stanley Figelski died Thursday at Saints Medical Center in Lowell.
She was born in Chelsea, March 21, 1933 a daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Bakinowski) Nowicki and lived in Chelsea before moving to Billerica in 1963.
Mrs. Figelski enjoyed camping at her families' summer place in Hopkinton, was a great cook and enjoyed going to parties, shopping and gardening.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Robert Figelski and his wife Amy of Boxford; three daughters, Dr. Kathleen Shank and her husband Charles of Tyngsboro, Nancy (Figelski) Kelley of Billerica and Lisa Lynn and her husband Barry of OH; two sisters Josephine Leone of Yarmouth and Wanda Pignato of Malden; and seven grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, and Sarah Shank and Samantha, Jordan, Zachary and Abigail Lynn. She is also survived by her beloved pets.

Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 1 - 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114 or to the American Liver Foundation, 246 Walnut St., Newton 02160.
