Obituary for Dorothy M. LeLacheur
Dorothy M. LeLacheur – Age 92, wife of the late John “Jack” LeLacheur died Friday at the Brookdale Senior Living in St. Augustine, FL. Dolly has earned a well deserved rest and is in perfect peace dancing to “Satin Doll” with her beloved Jack.

She was born in Lowell, October 28, 1925, a daughter of the late George W. and Dorothy (Plaisted) Murray and lived in Billerica for 59 years before moving to Chelmsford and then to Florida. She graduated from Lowell High School and was a proud graduate of St. John’s School of Nursing. She was a communicant of St. Andrew Church in N. Billerica.

Dolly was employed as a Cafeteria Worker at both the Talbot School and then the Billerica High School before her retirement.

Dolly also enjoyed her loving family and many fun family gatherings. She especially enjoyed attending her grandsons’ events whether it was sports or music, she was always there to cheer them on. She also loved spending time at the beach with her family.
Dolly always enjoyed playing bridge games with her girlfriends in Lowell and special friends in Billerica.

Her family appreciated the wonderful care given to her at Brookdale Senior Living

She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Jenkins and her husband Jeff of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; her son, Murray LeLacheur of Newport, RI; her grandchildren, J. Christopher Jenkins and his wife Heather of NH and Drew Jenkins and his wife Heather of PA; her great grandchildren, Mason, Avery and Jack Jenkins and her sisters, Donna Donahue of VT, Gail Murray of West Yarmouth and Debbie St. Jean of ME. She is also leaves behind her wonderful nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Ardelle O’Malley.

LeLacheur – Of FL, formerly of Billerica and Chelmsford, August 17, Dorothy M. LeLacheur, It being her request, funeral arrangements will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
