Doris W. (Shedd) Johnson, age 90, beloved wife of the late Murray R. Johnson, died Monday at Carleton-Willard Village in Bedford after a period of declining health.
She was born in Billerica, April 4, 1934 a daughter of the late Harold and Blanche (Fountain) Shedd and lived in Woburn before moving back to Billerica in 1961.
Doris worked as a cashier for Market Basket at Towne Plaza in Billerica and was a member of the First Congregational Church in Billerica and a former member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by five sons, Murray Johnson and his wife Elizabeth of Billerica, Douglas Johnson and his spouse Doug of Lowell, Harold Johnson of Dover, David Johnson of Nashua and Richard Johnson of Laconia as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 13, at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 12 noon. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. prior to the service. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org.
