Obituary for Doris R. Hanson
Doris R. (Connolly) Hanson, age 89, wife of the late George C. Hanson, died Friday at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington surrounded by her family. She was born in Somerville, August 22, 1924 a daughter of the late, Anthony and Sara (Ridge) Connolly, was the last of surviving of their nine children and lived in Somerville before moving to Billerica in 1951 Mrs. Hanson was a bookkeeper for Brainerd Insurance in Billerica, belonged to St. Theresa’s Women’s Club, the Council on Aging and the Billerica Garden Club. She is survived by one son, Robert Hanson of Haverhill, MA; two daughters Laura Yeager of CT and Eileen McHale of AZ; two grandchildren, Heather Crafts and Devyn Davis; two great-grandchildren, Samuel and Charlie Crafts. Funeral Friday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
