Obituary for Donna M. Foley
Donna M. (Bennett) Foley, age 71, beloved wife of Paul R. Powderly died Thursday at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers with her family by her side.

She was born in Lawrence, May 14, 1947 a daughter of the late George F. and Belinda (Bugler) Bennett and lived in Lawrence and Winchester before moving to Billerica in 2000.

Donna was a teacher for the Town of Billerica having taught at both the Talbot and Parker Schools prior to her retirement.

Donna spent her summers at Long Sands in York Beach, ME, winters in Marco Island, FL and truly loved life as well as being a Nana. In her spare time she enjoyed sports and reading.

Besides her husband she is survived by her daughter, Megan Brown and her husband Ryan of Stoneham and their children, Colby and Alexis Brown. Paul’s children, Brendan Powderly and his wife Jennifer and their children, Tucker and Annamarie Powderly of Barnegat, NJ, Caitlin Powderly of Jacksonville, FL and Megan Boyer and her husband John and their son Grady Boyer of N. Chelmsford. She is also survived by her brother, George Bennett and his wife Christine of Quincy and her former husband, Robert H. Foley.

FOLEY – Of Billerica, Dec. 13, Donna M. (Bennett) Foley. Visiting hours will be held Sunday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1-4 p.m. Funeral arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
