Obituary for Donald J. Chartrand
Donald J. Chartrand, age 73, husband of the late Mary L. (Driscoll) Chartrand died Monday at his home. He was born in Somerville, Sept. 19, 1940 a son of the late Joseph A. and Margaret F. (Quigley) Chartrand and lived in Somerville until moving to Billerica in 1973. Mr. Chartrand was a crew chief for American Airlines retiring in 2012 after 47 years of service. He is survived by four sons, David Chartrand and his wife Linda, Stephen Chartrand and his wife Joyce all of Billerica, Kevin Chartrand and his wife Dionabel of Hudson, NH and Daniel Chartrand and his wife Tiffany of Ft Wayne, IN; a caring partner, Patricia Drew of Medford, a loving niece, Margaret MacInnes of Charlestown; one sister Helen Marshall of Braintree as well as six grandchildren, David and Danielle Chartrand, Krista Chartrand, Jaymee Guinard, Nathan Chartrand and Ileene Domenech. He was the brother of the late Irene MacInnes. CHARTRAND – Of Billerica, formerly of Somerville, April 7, Donald J. Chartrand. Funeral Friday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701 Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
