Donald A. Berube - of North Billerica, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025.
Don was born on October 27, 1937, in Fall River, MA. He was the son of Arthur Berube and Corinne (Hamel) Berube. Don has been reunited in Heaven with Fran, his loving wife of 63 years, his parents and his eldest sister, Germaine Hughes.
Don is survived by his and Fran’s five children, Michael Berube of Buford, GA, Kenneth Berube of East Boston, Theresa Mullaney of Raymond, NH, Doreen Shedd of Billerica, MA, and Claudine May of Pepperell, MA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jonathan Berube, Nicole Gess, Billy Mullaney, Bryan Shedd, Lyndsey Shedd, Kaitlyn May and Nicholas May and two great-grandchildren, Ethan Gess and Maeve Berube. He is also survived by his youngest sister, Marie Brown.
Don was a loving and thoughtful parent and grandparent with an awesome smile and sense of humor. He always had a “Dad Joke” to share. Don proudly served in the military and he was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Road, Billerica, MA 01821 on Monday, February 17 from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 17 at 10:00AM at St. Irene’s Catholic Church, 181 East St., Carlisle, MA 01741. His burial will follow at Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica, MA 01821
