Obituary for Donald R. Fuller Sr.
Donald R. Fuller Sr. – Age 84, husband of Arlene (Longo) Fuller, passed away on Friday, December 15 at Lahey Hospital in Burlington surrounded by his loving family.
He was born August 9, 1933 and was the son of the late Donald and Marie (Arcidiacono) Fuller. He was born in Brooklyn NY, but was a resident of Billerica for the last 50 years, and always considered Massachusetts his home.
Mr. Fuller was a proud member of the United States Navy and served during the Korean War. After leaving the service, Donald worked as a technician for Digital Equipment Corporation and retired from their Salem, NH branch after spending 19 years there, in 1991.
He was a member of the Billerica Knights of Columbus and could be found any given Sunday at St. Mary’s Church in Billerica where he enjoyed serving as an usher.
Besides his loving wife Arlene, Mr. Fuller is survived by his five children, Donald Fuller, Jr. and his wife Peggy of Hudson, NH, Mark Fuller and his wife Roberta of Pelham, NH, Michael Fuller of Billerica, Lynn Morse of Shirley, and Glenn Fuller of Windham, NH. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, Jason, Caitlin, Jasmin, Kyle, Dawn-Marie, Matthew, Lauren-Ashley, Jacob, Rachel and Elizabeth, as well as two great-grandchildren Lucas and Carter, all of whom he loved dearly. He was also the father-in-law of the late Kim Fuller and Warren Morse Jr.
A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, December 20 at St. Mary Church, 796 Boston Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, P.O. Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
