Obituary for Donald A. DeYoung
Donald A. DeYoung, age 59, died unexpectedly Tuesday at Wingate at Belvidere in Lowell.
He was born in Somerville, September 14, 1958 a son of Joan L. (Fitzpatrick) (DeYoung) McMillen of Billerica and the late William E. DeYoung. He moved to Billerica in 1963 and more recently to Dracut.
Don was an Electronics Tech for Herley New England located in Woburn. He was an avid Red Sox fan having owned season tickets with his brother Bob since 1982 and was also an avid New England Patriots fan and enjoyed going out to watch the Patriots games with friends and family.
Besides his mother he is survived by one brother, Robert DeYoung of Dracut; two Aunts Barbara Powers of Somerville and Joan Sherman of Maine as well as several cousins and friends.
DEYOUNG – Of Dracut, formerly of Billerica, unexpectedly Nov. 21, Donald A. DeYoung. Visiting hours will be held Saturday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. with a graveside service to be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that you take a loved one to dinner.
