Obituary for Dinah D. Holman
Dinah D. Holman, Age 80, wife of the late John L. Holman Jr. died with dignity and at peace on Monday at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington.

She was born in Brookline, June 7, 1940, a daughter of the late William and Carrie (Perkins) Driscoll and lived in Somerville and Cambridge before moving to Billerica in the late 1960’s.

Dinah was employed as a Quality Control Technician for BASF and Fuji Films for over 15 years prior to her retirement. She and her husband John were married for 46 year and were active at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in N. Billerica. They spent many years together vacationing with family in Maine, traveling the world chasing a Solar Eclipse, birdwatching and exploring nature. Dinah lived a fulfilling and happy life. She was known for her ability to persevere and tackle life obstacles with a smile on her face.

She will be missed immensely by her daughter, Laurie Holman of Billerica; her son, Charlie Holman of Berlin, NH; her sister, Joyce Dunn of WA, her two grandchildren, CJ and Caitlyn Holman and her Niece Jennifer Simerly.

At the request of the family, arrangements will be private.
Mr. and Mrs. Holman adopted their two children Laurie and Charlie at the NE Home for Little Wanderers in 1971 and 1973 as infants. In lieu of flowers or gifts, Memorial contributions may be made in her name to The Home for Little Wanderers, please visit www.thehome.org
