Obituary for Diane Murray
BILLERICA – Diane (Sturtevant) Murray, age 74, died Monday at Tufts New England Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born in Lowell, January 31, 1941 a daughter of the late Winfield and Marion (Noonan) Sturtevant and lived in Lowell before moving to Billerica over 25 years ago.
Diane was an avid reader which was passed on to her children and grandchildren. She loved gardening with yellow flowers as a favorite. Her absolute passion was online gaming with the most recent being World of Warcraft. She also enjoyed knitting and having political discussions online and in person.
She has reunited with her first born son, Mark Cobin, and is survived by her children and extended family; Jo Sturtevant and Alex Herndon, Lois Bousquet and Paul Dubois, Suzanne Morison and Ray Belanger, Michelene and Thomas Langlois, Robert Cobin and Robyn Baldasarre, Andrea and Stephen Ford, Richard Murray Jr., and her siblings Marilyn Foley and Robert Sturtevant with the support of their spouses.
MURRAY – Of Billerica, formerly of Lowell, Nov 16, Diane (Sturtevant) Murray. A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday Nov. 28 at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd. , Billerica from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service to be held at 12:00 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. All other services will be held privately and at the discretion of her family.
