Diane M. Robichaud – age 95, wife of the late William E. Robichaud Sr. died peacefully Tuesday, October 21 at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington with her family at her side.
She was born in Ste. Marie-de-Kent, New Brunswick, Canada, June 9, 1930 a daughter of the late Fidele and Josephine (Maillet) Robichaud and was raised in Canada and later moved to Waltham and moved to Billerica in 2002.
Diane was employed at Hewlett-Packard for 25 years working in Waltham and Andover and retired in 1996. Diane was a communicant of Our Lady’s Parish in Waltham and St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church in Billerica.
She is survived by her children, Rose Robichaud of Billerica, William “Bill” Robichaud Jr. and his wife Robin of Hubbardston, Linda Richard and her husband Leonce “Lee” of Billerica, Michael Robichaud and his wife Debora of Jamestown, NC and Kevin Robichaud of Harwich Port. Her grandchildren, Nicole Bucher and her husband Dustin of Hubbardston, Christopher Robichaud of Costa Rica, Denise Byam and her husband Alan of Charlotte, NC, Eric Richard and his wife Heather of Billerica, Jennifer Richard of Billerica, Shawn Robichaud of Falmouth and Samantha Robichaud of Falmouth. Her great grandchildren, Everett and June Bucher, Genevieve “Evie” St. Ange, Riley Richard and Margot and Isaac Byam. Her sisters, Nelida Allain and Florence Cormier of Canada. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews and cousins. She was the grandmother of the late Aimee Robichaud.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, October 24 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church at 10 a.m. A private burial will take place on Monday at the Calvary Cemetery in Waltham.
