Obituary for Deborah A. Duby
BILLERICA – Deborah A. Duby, age 68, longtime companion and best friend of Gwen Morris, died Thursday at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She was born in Cambridge, January 29, 1947, a daughter of the late Arthur E. and Marguerite (Walsh) Duby and has been a lifelong Billerica resident. Debbie was a well known Manager at the Dunkin Donuts across from Town Plaza in Billerica for over 20 years and was also an avid Boston sports fan especially of the Red Sox. Besides her companion she is survived by her six children, Lynda Saucier and her husband Frank of Tyngsboro, Patricia Duby of Lowell, Marianne Svenson and her husband David of Tewksbury, Larry Duby of Billerica, Stephen Duby and his wife Allison of Lowell and Jennifer Sullivan and her husband Dana of Billerica; one brother Bryan Duby of Billerica; one sister, Patricia Martin of Billerica as well as 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson. DUBY – Of Billerica, Feb. 19, Deborah A. Duby. A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday from 1 till 4PM at the Billerica Country Club, 51 Baldwin Rd., Billerica. All other services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Sofia Gordon Cancer Center at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in memory of Deborah Duby.
