Dawna M. Roush of Billerica – Age 61, beloved wife of Joel A. Roush died Friday, January 30 at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Boston, May 24, 1964, a daughter of the late Neil J. and June (Cooper) McGorty and was raised in Tewksbury and moved to Billerica in 1985.
Dawna worked for Market Basket for15 years and later worked as a Baker for Dunkin Donuts in Pinehurst.
Besides her husband, Dawna is survived by her daughters, Jessica Roush of Billerica and Theresa Roush of Billerica; her sister, Sharron Charest of Billerica and her beloved grandson, who she adored Jacob Mount of Billerica as well as her Aunt Maryann and uncle Tony of Woburn. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday, February, 6 at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd. Billerica at 12:30. Memorial contributions may be made in Dawna’s name to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org
