David M. Swanson – age 55, beloved husband of Coral J. (Cunningham) Swanson died peacefully Saturday, December 7 with his wife, stepdaughter and her boyfriend at his side.
He was born in Lowell, May 10, 1969 a son of Walter Swanson of Florida and the late Joyce L. (Jenkins) Swanson and lived in Billerica all of his life.
David was employed as a Roofing Contractor having worked for many companies including his brother Al Swanson Roofing.
Besides his wife and father, David is survived by his sons, Mitchell Swanson of Billerica, and Derek Swanson of Dracut; his step daughter, Courtney Gibbs of Billerica; his brothers, Allan Swanson of Billerica and Daniel Swanson of Leominster; his sister, Kathy Lison of Fitchburg and his grandchildren, Anthony and Daniel. He was the father of the late Samantha Swanson.
David’s funeral arrangements will be private and memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org
