
Dave MacAulay, age 66, beloved husband of Ginny (Turner) MacAulay, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 after a period of declining health.
He was born in Salem MA, February 27, 1958, to the late Robert MacAulay and Charlene (Macfarlane) Armstrong, and lived in Ipswich and Boston before moving to Billerica in 1985.
Dave worked for the railroad for 42 years, retiring from Keolis in 2018. He was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed gardening.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Morgan Tripodi, her husband Michael and his beloved grandson Max Tripodi, all of Billerica; his sisters, Kate Shockley, Carrie Waszkelewicz, and Sue Sparks; his brothers, Kyle MacAulay, Bob MacAulay, and Rich MacAulay; his in-laws, Bud and Ginny Turner, Tim Turner, and Robbi Ploegmakers; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday, November 1, 2024 at Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 1 o'clock, followed by a luncheon at the Country Club of Billerica. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA.
