Obituary for David L. Diehsner

David L. Diehsner – age 66, died peacefully Tuesday, March 31 at the York Hospital in York, Maine after a period of declining health.


He was born in Schenectady, NY, August 21, 1959, a son of Janice (Wood) Diehsner of Billerica and the late John Diehsner and was raised in Billerica and later lived in Bridgewater and then Wells, Maine.


David was employed as an Accountant and worked at the York County Community College and other businesses in the area.


Besides his mother, David is survived by his brothers, Randy Diehsner and his wife Patricia of Hartwell, GA and Jeff Diehsner and his wife Joy of W. Bridgewater; his nephew, Derek Diehsner of Manchester, NH and Dustin Diehsner of Wellesley; his niece, Christie Diehsner of W. Bridgewater and his great niece and nephew, Olivia and Zachary Diehsner. He was the brother of the late Tamie Abrahamson.


Visiting hours will be held Friday, April 3 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. His burial will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery in Billerica. Memorial contributions may be made in David’s name to the Make a Wish Foundation, www.wish.org
