Obituary for David E. Raboin
LOWELL – David E. Raboin, age 71, husband of the late Dorothy (Porter) Raboin died Sunday at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House. He was born in Worcester, MA, December 13, 1940 a son of the late Leo W. and Evelyn L. (Legere) Raboin and was a longtime resident of Billerica before moving to Lowell 17 years ago. Mr. Raboin was employed by the MBTA for many years retiring as a Revenue Agent, and was an active MSPCA Volunteer and animal lover. He is survived by two sons, Mark S. Raboin of Lowell and Brian K. Raboin of Medford; three daughters, Linda McDonough and Darlene Raboin both of Lowell and Suzanne Raboin of Tewksbury; one brother Louis Raboin of Stoneham; two sisters, Sr. Rita Raboin SND of Brasil and Theresa LeBlanc of Stoneham. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was also the father of the late David E. Raboin Jr. and Great - grandfather of the late Joseph C. Raboin Jr. RABOIN – Of Lowell formerly of Billerica, Oct. 21, David E. Raboin. Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd. at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
