David C. Smith - Age 54, beloved husband of Lorraine D. (Diaz) Smith died unexpectedly Friday at the Lowell General Hospital.
He was born in Syracuse, NY, September 20, 1955, the son of the late Herbert and Harriet (McLane) Smith and lived in Syracuse for many years before moving to Chelmsford 26 years ago.
Mr. Smith was the Owner of Opticorp Inc. in Chelmsford. He and his wife enjoyed vacationing at their home on Martha's Vineyard
Besides his wife, Mr. Smith is survived by his brothers, Herbert Smith and his wife Sally of Syracuse, NY and Christopher Smith and his wife Laura of Boulder, CO; his sister, Pamela Piraino and her husband Joseph of Syracuse, NY and his nieces and nephews.
