Obituary for Darrell V. Azbell
Darrell V. Azbell – Age 88, beloved husband of Barbara A. (L’Archevesque)(Sinotte) Azbell died Wednesday at CareOne in Wilmington.
He was born in Lancaster, Ohio, August 6, 1933, son of the late Pearl V. and Nora E. (Jones) Azbell and was raised in Ohio and lived in Bedford before moving to Billerica.
Darrell proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed as an Electrician for Barker Steel before his retirement.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Steven Azbell of N. Reading, Vicki Azbell, the late Julie Davis, Mark Sinotte of Hookset, NH, Steven Sinotte of Tyngsborough, Denise Cuzzupe of Billerica, Linda Lauria of Myrtle Beach, SC and Lisa Matvichuk of Lynn and is also survived by his 19 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Monday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd. at 12:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Darrell’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project. www.woundedwarriorproject.org
