Obituary for Daniel P. MacNeil
BILLERICA – Daniel P. MacNeil, age 76, beloved husband of Kathryn M. (Raeke) MacNeil died Tuesday at their home surrounded by his family. He was born in Newton, August 20, 1937 a son of the late Allan and Sarah (MacCleod) MacNeil and lived in Newton and Brighton prior to moving to Billerica 44 years ago. Mr. MacNeil served in the US Marine Corps. and participated in the Beirut, Lebanon Operation in 1958. He was an Inventory Control Clerk for TRW in Westminster and Burlington, was a parishioner of St. Theresa Church and a longtime coach for Billerica Little League. Besides his wife of 51 years he is survived by two sons, Daniel P. MacNeil Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Tewksbury and Edward A. MacNeil of Billerica; two daughters, Donna Pacelli of Methuen and Bonnie MacNeil of Billerica as well as four grandchildren, Caitlin, Daniel III and Colleen MacNeil and Michael Pacelli. He was the brother of the late Laura Hohler and Janet LeBlanc. MACNEIL – Of Billerica, formerly of Newton and Brighton, Daniel P. MacNeil. Funeral Saturday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
