
Obituary for Daniel L. Hurley
Daniel L. Hurley, Age 87, husband of the late Pauline S. (MacGillivray) Hurley died Monday at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Boston, August 13, 1927, the son of the late Daniel J. and Eleanor (Jones) Hurley and lived in Andover for 40 years before moving to Billerica over two years ago. Mr. Hurley served in the Navy during WW II. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Hurley worked at the Hub Folding Box Company in Mansfield as the Sales Manager and the Titleist Account Manager. Mr. Hurley enjoyed 40 years of sports officiating, he was the past president of the NE Football Officials, past president of the NE Golf Association and past president of the MA Golf Association. He was a member of the Indian Ridge Country Club in Andover and the Kittansett Club in Marion. He is survived by his son, Stephen Hurley of Billerica; his brother, Robert Hurley of Arlington and his grandchildren, Christopher and Lindsay Hurley. He was the father-in-law of the late Judy Hurley. HURLEY – Of Billerica, formerly of Andover, Aug. 25, Daniel L. Hurley, Funeral Friday from the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 3-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MA Golf Association Jr. Program at www.maglinks.org Burial in Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover.
