Daniel K. Frazer, age 57, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 18, 2026.
Born in Medford on July 14, 1968, he was the son of the late Richard W. and Frances J. (Whelan) Frazer. He was raised in Billerica and had been a resident of Lowell for the past 35 years. He was a graduate of Billerica Memorial High School Class of 1986.
Daniel worked as a social worker at St. Ann’s Home & School, where he dedicated himself to supporting children, adolescents, and families in need.
Daniel was a passionate caretaker of nature and took great pride in tending to his expansive collection of tropical plants. He was also passionate about animals, particularly snakes and reptiles. Volunteering with Stone Zoo was one of the experiences he cherished most and reflected his deep love and appreciation for all animals.
He is survived by his brother, Joseph Frazer and his partner Anna Gammal of Hopkinton; his niece, Katrina Frazer of Nashua, New Hampshire; and his great-niece, Olivia Trouville. He was also the brother of the late Diane Frazer.
Daniel’s funeral arrangements will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Daniel’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org
