Daniel A. LeBlanc – age 59, loving husband of Brenda L. (Martell) LeBlanc died peacefully Saturday, July 19 at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading with his family at his side.
He was born in Waltham, January 17, 1966 a son of the late Ovila F. and Carolyn G. (Sears) LeBlanc and was raised in Waltham having moved to Billerica in 1994.
Daniel was employed for the Lexington School Department in the Custodial Department and later worked for Friend Lumber in Burlington.
Besides his wife, Daniel is survived by his sister, Katherine LeBlanc of Braintree, his special aunt Dianne Boudreau of Waltham, and his extended Canadian family He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-laws Harry Martell Shrewsbury, Richard & Laurie Martell, John & Christine Martell of Billerica, Jimmy& Cathy Martell of Tewksbury and Beverly and Christopher Catanzaro of Pelham N.H. He was also the special uncle to 13 nieces & nephews, and 16 great nieces & nephews.
Dan was an avid fisherman and loved to fish both fresh water and saltwater where he mastered the art of fly-fishing. Dan loved spending time with his family in Brewster, Cape Cod and Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
Visiting hours will be held at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday at the Community Congregational Church, 803 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. His burial will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery in Billerica.
