Daniel G. Frobese – age 80, died Wednesday, September 14 at the Lahey Hospital after a long illness.
He was born in Billerica, July 29, 1942, a son of the late Ernest J. Frobese Sr. and Anne M. (Gillis) Frobese and lived in Billerica all of his life.
Dan was a self-employed General Contractor having worked in the Billerica area for many years.
He was an important member of the AA community having been sober for 49 years.
Dan is survived by his son, Steven Goodwin and his wife Laureen of Wolfeboro, NH; his stepdaughter, Gail Nault of Billerica; his sisters, Joan Potter of FL, Jessie Herndon of TX, Jean Hill of CO and Stephanie Frobese of ME and is also survived by his eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was the grandfather of the late Gavin Goodwin and brother of the late Francis, Ernest, Michael and Stephen Frobese.
A Celebration of Dan’s Life will be held Sunday, October 2 at the Billerica Lodge of Elks, Webb Brook Rd., Billerica from 2-6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Dan’s name to the Billerica Community Panty, P.O. Box 285, MA 01821.
