Dana J. Hart – Age 49, passed Monday, July 3 in Chelmsford.
He was born in Winchester, September 15, 1973, a son of the late Paula (Bialecki) Hart and was raised in Billerica and lived in Lowell for the past 15 years.
Dana graduated from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School Class of 91’ and was a former Mechanic at Lannan Chevrolet in Lowell and most recently with Speedee Oil in Dracut.
He is survived by his children, Jacqueline Hogan of Lakewood, CO, Robyn Hart of Phoenix, AZ, Dana J Hart Jr. of Billerica and Tyler J Hart of Lowell; the mother of his children, Sadie Hogan of ME, his former wife Betty (Whelan) Hart and her three children of Lowell, his sister, Kimberly Hart of Billerica and brother Billy Towlson of Winthrop.
He was a well respected and talented, self-taught drummer. His greatest joy in life was being a father. He was an honest, hardworking man who was enthralled by the intricacies of mechanics. Dana was spiritually connected to the earth and everything around him, and his smile and charisma could liven up any room.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday July 15 at the Knights of Columbus Council 4336, located at 2068 Main St. Tewksbury, MA 01876 from 12pm-4pm.
Casual attire is requested, please wear your favorite band t-shirt in honor of Dana.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dana’s name to the Save the Music Foundation.
