Obituary for Dale A. Johnson
Dale A. Johnson – Age 56, died peacefully Saturday at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington with his family at his side.
He was born in Omaha, Nebraska, February 6, 1965, a son of Arlene E. (Robertson) Johnson of Franklin and the late Leroy A. Johnson and was raised in Franklin and lived in Billerica and Franklin before recently moving to Bedford.
Dale proudly served in the U.S. Army in S. Korea and between 2007-2011 in Iraq and Afghanistan and was the recipient of two Purple Hearts.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his loving daughter, Elisabeth Johnson of Billerica; his former wife, Sharon P. (Pellegrino) Johnson of Billerica; his brother, Eric Johnson of Falls Church, VA; his sisters, Jill Johnson and Jan Wasnewsky of Franklin and many nieces and nephews and his grand dog, Goose. He was the brother of the late Kenneth Johnson.
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. with Military Honors to follow.
