Obituary for Craig S. Barnes
Craig S. Barnes - Age 68, beloved husband of Jeanette L. (McIntosh) Barnes died unexpectedly Monday at their home.
He was born in Winchester, March 9, 1943, the son of the late Earle S. and Eleanor M. (Dodge) Barnes and lived in Lynnfield before moving to Billerica in 1966. Mr. Barnes served in the Air Force from 1961-1965.
He was employed as an Aeronautics Welder for Ametek Inc. in Wilmington for 36 years having retired in 2003. Mr. Barnes was a former youth hockey coach for the Town of Billerica.
Besides his wife, Mr. Barnes is survived by his sons, Steven Barnes and his wife Deb of Mashpee and Scott Barnes and his wife Debbie of Billerica; his daughters, Shirley Bianco and her husband Bill of Derby, KS and Sandra Barnes of Billerica; his brothers, Keith Barnes of Pelham, NH and Douglas Barnes of ME. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
BARNES - Of Billerica, June 6, Craig S. Barnes. A funeral service will be held Friday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, One Bullfinch Place, Boston, MA 02114. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
