Obituary for Cornelius J. Fitzpatrick Jr.
BILLERICA – Cornelius J. “Connie” Fitzpatrick Jr., age 80, beloved husband of Marilyn R. (Rourke) Fitzpatrick died unexpectedly Monday at their home.
He was born in Somerville, July 10, 1937 a son of the late Cornelius J. Sr. and Catherine (Morrisey) Fitzpatrick and lived in Revere before moving to Billerica in 1967.
Mr. Fitzpatrick served in the Army National Guard and was a Mechanical Engineer for the former Wang Computers in Lowell and more recently for Scully Signal in Wilmington where he was the Plant Manager. In his spare time he enjoyed Playing Golf and was an avid Red Sox fan.
Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Kathy Ioan and her husband Cosmin of Littleton; two sons, Connie Fitzpatrick and his wife Gina of Mansfield and Tim Fitzpatrick and his wife Alice of Somerville; one sister, Anna Porter and her husband Howard of Stoneham; two brothers, Edmund “Ned” Fitzpatrick and his wife Anne of Carlisle and Kevin Fitzpatrick and his wife Susan of Billerica as well as five grandchildren, Conor, Cailin, Keira, Adrian and Larisa.

Funeral Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4- 7 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Connie’s name may be made to the Jimmy Fund, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
