Obituary for Corinne R. MIller
Corinne Rose Miller – Age 96, wife of the late John J. Miller died Sunday at her home with her family by her side.
Corinne was born in Somerville, October 7, 1924, a daughter of the late Lazzaro and Amalia (Aprile) Zermani and was raised in Somerville and later moved to Billerica and then Tewksbury 33 years ago. As a young woman she was a comptometer in South Boston then she had other small jobs before becoming the caregiver to her daughter Susan.
Corinne had many friends which is a testament to her sweet personality and caring nature. She had a heart of gold and was always there to lend a hand to whoever needed it. Corinne was a fantastic cook and was known for her delicious meatballs and sauce. She was always ready for a road trip or an overnight stay with her friends and family. She had many close friends whom she enjoyed playing games, especially dominos with.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen DeMone and her husband Bryan of Burlington; her sister, Ann Bromberg of Billerica; her grandchildren, Steven and Jeffrey Miller of Tampa, Florida, Jenna Massa and her husband Phillip Massa of Hudson, New Hampshire, Derrik DeMone of Burlington; her great grandson, Brody Massa and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Susan Miller and John Miller, sister of the late Andrew, Arthur and John Zermani, and the mother-in-law of the late Kathleen Murphy.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 1 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Face masks are required. Her burial will take place at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Society, www.diabetes.org
