It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Christopher H. Turton (Chris, CT), age 58, beloved husband of Cheryl A. (Bearisto) Turton. Chris died unexpectedly Friday April 3, 2026 at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Fremont, CA, September 6, 1967, the son of Rose A. (Nardo) Turton of Woburn, MA. Chris grew up in Burlington, MA and was a class of 1985 graduate of Burlington High School. He spent many years with the love of his life, Cheryl, and moved to Billerica 13 years ago to start a new chapter with her. They were married on September 19, 2015.
Chris was a Project Manager for MacCo Services in Billerica for 17 years and in his spare time he could be found hanging out in “the shed” or “the G” with a Miller Lite in his hand, a fire lit, and a game on TV. He will be remembered for his unfailing love of the Pittsburgh Steelers and his unwavering support for all of our Veterans.
Along with his wife, Cheryl and his mother, Rose, he is survived by his stepson, Michael Healey and his wife Elizabeth of Billerica; his brother, David Turton of Tewksbury; his sister Nancy Surette-O’Neill and his brother-in-law Michael Thomas of Middleton, his sister, Jodie Thomas and his brother-in-law John Thomas of Billerica, his nieces and nephews Scott, Stephanie, Steven, Sarah, and Sean, his great niece Celia, as well as his beloved new grandson Jaxon.
There isn’t a person that knew Chris that wasn’t profoundly touched by his kindness, loyalty, friendship and love. He was the best husband, son, stepfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was the life of the party, the fiercest protector, and the strongest rock. Chris was so much to so many people and he will be forever missed.

A celebration of Chris’s life will be held Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 12:00 to 4:00PM at The Billerica Elks Lodge, 14 Webb Brook Road, Billerica, MA 01821. Family and friends are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Veteran’s Charity of one’s choice or the MDS Foundation.
