Obituary for Christine M. Toland
Christine Mildred (Lawson)(Currie) Toland – Age 93, wife of the late John Toland died Tuesday at the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley. She was born in Somerville, October 14, 1919, the daughter of the late Edward H. and Christine M. (Woodworth) Lawson and lived in Billerica for most of her life. Mrs. Toland was a former member of the Pinehurst Community Congregational Church and was a former Sunday School Teacher. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Cooper and Frances Ericson of Billerica and Kathleen Sheets of CA; her sons, Joseph Currie of Webster, NH, Thomas Currie of AZ and Daniel Toland of Worcester. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Robert Currie. TOLAND – Of Billerica, May 7, Christine Mildred (Lawson)(Currie) Toland, Funeral Saturday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4-7 p.m.
