Obituary for Charles Settipani
Charles Settipani, age 87, husband of Helen R. (Homewood) Settipani died Friday at their home surrounded by his family. He was born in Boston, January 13, 1924 a son of the late Anthony and Josephine (Quagenti) Settipani and lived in AZ and Billerica, MA before moving to Hudson in 1995. Mr. Settipani served in the US Army during WW II, worked in Maintenance and Purchasing at the Chelsea Navy Yard in Chelsea, MA and was a member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks and the Disabled American Veterans. His hobbies included gardening and tinkering with many things. During the 1940’s he was the conductor of the Band CQ Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Janet Taylor of Hudson, NH and Anne Marie White of Plymouth, NH; one sister, Anne Quagenti of Hyde Park; four grandchildren, Charles and Janet Taylor, Dawn Smith and Melissa Prather as well as 7 great-granddaughters. SETTIPANI – Of Hudson, formerly of Billerica, MA, Dec. 2, Charles Settipani. Funeral Tuesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica, at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4 – 7 p.m. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Hudson, NH.
