Obituary for Charles R. Mulvey
BILLERICA – Charles R. Mulvey, age 78, beloved husband of Carol M. (Riley) Mulvey died Tuesday at the Fairhaven Nursing home after a lengthy illness. He was born in Malden, April 8, 1935, a son of the late John B. and Elsie (Coombs) Mulvey and lived in Everett and Malden before moving to Billerica in 1965. Mr. Mulvey served in the Massachusetts National Guard, was a Project Manager for Giltspur for 30 years, was an avid golfer, Red Sox fan and a league member of the Woburn Country Club. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, James Mulvey of Lowell and Michael Mulvey of Chelmsford; two daughters, Kathy Gough and her husband Michael and Stephanie Brunelle and her husband Bob all of Billerica; six grandchildren, Ryan and Kelly Gough and Kyle, Joseph, Megan and Riley Brunelle as well his extended family the Olsons of Billerica. He was also the brother of the late Edward and George Mulvey. MULVEY – Of Billerica formerly of Everett and Malden, Sept. 3, Charles R. Mulvey. A Funeral Service will be held Friday in the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Home for Little Wanderers, 271 Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02115 or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105
