Obituary for Charles L. Pritchard
Charles L. Pritchard – Age 81, beloved husband of Kathleen L. (Welch) Pritchard died Saturday at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston with his family at his side.
He was born in Wichita, KS, April 23, 1935, a son of the late James and LaVerne (Hall) Pritchard and was raised in Kansas City, MO. having moved to Billerica in 1965. Mr. Pritchard proudly served in the U.S. Navy having sailed on both the USS Greenfish and later the USS Abraham Lincoln Ballistic Missile Submarine.
He was employed as a Technical Writer for Lockheed Martin for 30 years having retired in 1998. After retirement he worked at O'Connor Hardware in Billerica. He was an active communicant of St. Theresa Church and was involved in their RCIA program and a member of the Billerica Knights of Columbus.
Besides his wife, Mr. Pritchard is survived by his sons, Michael Pritchard and his wife Kimberly of Lawrence, Thomas Pritchard and his wife Holly of Westford and James Pritchard and his husband Steven of Billerica, his daughters, Michelle Travis and her husband Sean of Wilmot, NH and Lisa Ayn Ayres and her husband Walter of Kinston, NC; his sisters, Barbara Jones of CA and Delilah Wagner of MO. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandson.

Pritchard, Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
