Obituary for Charles D. "Chuck" Specht
Charles D. “Chuck” Specht, age 81, beloved husband of 60 years of Joan A. (Pedro) Specht died peacefully Monday at their home with his family by his side.
He was born January 24, 1939 in Lockport, NY a son of the late Donald C. and Maybelle (Willis) Specht and lived in Cambridge before moving to Billerica, MA 58 years ago.
Chuck proudly served in the US Navy and prior to his retirement was a Millroom Supervisor for BASF.
In his spare time he enjoyed spending time at their cottage on Newfound Lake in Bristol, NH, fishing, boating, jet skiing, and enjoying his time with his family. His love for his pets were unconditional and his passion in karate led him to become a 3rd degree black belt and carried that passion onto his family.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Jo Baro of Colorado Springs, CO and her partner Tony Diekman, Chuck Specht and his husband Larry Larouche of Lyndeborough, NH and Judy Brouillette and her husband Bob of Hudson, NH; his grandchildren, Michelle Dube, David Baro and Joshua Brouillette as well as his great-grandchildren Tyler and Madison Dube.
It being his wish all services will be held privately and at the convenience of his family.
