Obituary for Catherine R. Newman
Catherine R. (Campbell) Newman, age 98, beloved wife of the late Ralph N. Newman died peacefully February 14, 2021 at her home.
She was born in Woburn January 23, 1923 a daughter of the late Thomas C. and Catherine R. (McIntire) Campbell and lived in Woburn and Billerica before moving to Exeter, NH.
Prior to her retirement Mrs. Newman worked as an assembler for Raytheon and in her spare time enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her sister Anne Pigott of Exeter, NH; a sister-in-law, Ethel Doherty of Hampton, NH as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Charles Campbell.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday March 15 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Mary Church, 796 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. Per current CDC and State Guidelines face coverings will be required at all venues and attendees must sign up to attend the Funeral Mass at https://cli.re/ccb-funeral-signup
