Catherine E. MacPherson – Age 73, died peacefully Sunday, January 8 at the Lowell General Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Somerville, January 4, 1950, a daughter of the late Llewellyn and Mary (Hurley) MacPherson and was raised in Cambridge before moving to Billerica in 1994.
For many years Catherine was employed as a Bartender at the V.F.W. Solomon Post in N. Billerica and was an active volunteer for the Billerica Community Pantry.
She is survived by her son, Richard MacPherson and his fiancé Jennifer Sherwood of Lowell and her grandson, Shayne MacPherson of Tewksbury. She was the sister of the late John Hurley, Ronald, Raymond and Robert MacPherson and Jan Leroux.
Catherine’s burial will take place at a later date at the Cambridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Billerica Community Pantry, P.O. Box 285, Billerica, MA 01821.
