Obituary for Catherine F. Ruggiero
Catherine F. Ruggiero – Age 73, wife of the late Frank Ruggiero died Wednesday at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.
She was born in Cambridge, October 30, 1942, a daughter of the late Arthur and Katherine (Aylmer) Moran and lived in Somerville for many years before moving to Billerica in 1974.
Mrs. Ruggiero worked as a Waitress at the former Sandy’s Restaurant in Billerica and later worked in the Dietary Department at the Bedford V.A. Hospital for over 20 years prior to her retirement.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Mansfield and her husband Brian of Lowell and Dianne McGehee of Billerica; her son, Frank Ruggiero and his wife Noelle of Orange Park, FL, her brother, Edward Powers of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, Jason Barrett, Krysten Ross, Craig, Sean and Shayna McGehee, Melissa Powers and Gloria and Jonathan Ruggiero and great granddaughter, Gabby Barrett and her dear friends, Barbara Walsh of Billerica and Judy Mills of AZ. She was the sister of the late Michael and James Powers, Eileen Kelley and Mary Powers and the former companion of the late Jack Johnson.

(Moran) Ruggiero, Funeral Tuesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10:45 a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
