Carolyn B. (Tanner) Latham – Age 47, Loving partner of Jason F. Bristol passed peacefully surrounded by her family members late Monday, May 29, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital's ICU after a prolonged illness. Special thanks to the valiant efforts of the LGH Ground ICU team in caring for Carolyn.
Carolyn was born in Lawrence MA on October, 30, 1975 to Jean (Greenleaf) Tanner of East Hampstead NH, and the late Herbert Tanner and was raised in East Hampstead NH. She attended High School at Pinkerton Academy in Derry NH and graduated from Salem High School in Salem NH.
Carolyn is survived by her mother Jean Tanner of East Hampstead NH, her loving partner Jason, her three loving daughters: Elizabeth J. Tanner, Emily R. Bristol and Hannah B. Bristol all of Billerica; her brother, Allen Tanner of East Hampstead NH; her sister Tracey (Tanner) Holzapfel and husband Todd, niece Amelia, and nephew Luke of Akron OH.
Over the years Carolyn lived in Meredith NH, Melrose MA, Rockland MA, Haverhill MA for ten years before moving to Billerica MA six years ago. Carolyn worked as a Bus Driver, Caterer, Seamstress, Housecleaning Manager, House Manager at a Group Home for Disabled Adults in Billerica MA with Nexus Inc. of Woburn MA, and last as stay-at-home mom for the past eight years. In her spare time, Carolyn enjoyed doing craft projects including painting wood and ceramics, various sewing projects, holiday decorations for the house and as gifts, playing games, solving puzzles, and reading romance novels.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 23rd from 6-9PM at the Tewksbury Rod and Gun Club, 79 Chandler St Tewksbury, MA.
On Saturday June 24th, A second Celebration of Life will be held from 12-2PM at the Hampstead Public Library, 9 Mary E. Clarke Dr, Hampstead, NH. Graveside service will follow around 3PM at the Rural Cemetery 40 Chase St, West Newbury, MA Memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn’s name to the MSPCA, at mspca.org
