Obituary for Carol A. Jordan
BILLERICA – We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend Carol A. (Curtis) Jordan.
Carol was the beloved wife of the late Donald F. Jordan Sr. with whom she shared 52 years of marriage.
She was born on December 24th to the late Cyril P. and Margaret (Carpenter) Curtis and lived in Billerica most of her life.
Carol worked for the United States Postal Service in Woburn and N. Reading for over 20 years in many capacities retiring from management.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, loved vacationing in Las Vegas with her husband and family vacations in New Hampshire and Maine. Family was the most important thing in her life and we knew it always.
Carol is survived by her children, Debra Jordan of Billerica, Donald Jordan Jr. and Maxine Gerecke of Louisville, KY and Denise Jordan-Parolin and her husband Michael of Saco Maine; her adored grandchildren, Joseph Dominick and Natalie Jordan of Billerica, Heather Jordan and Jennifer Jordan of Dracut, David Murphy of Saco, ME and the late Jordan Marie Dominick; her loving brothers and sisters, Daniel Curtis and his wife Christine of PA, Francis (Mickey) Curtis of Haines City, FL, Margaret (Peggy) Belliveau and her husband Norman of Athol, Mary (Happy) Lyman of Billerica and Suzanne Vettese and her husband Al of Nashua NH and was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was also the sister of the late Glenn Curtis, Peter Curtis, Florence (Mackey) Keough, Claire Ward, Millie Curtis and Cyril P. Curtis Jr.
JORDAN – Of Billerica, May 10, Carol (Curtis) Jordan. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday at St. Mary’s Church, 796 Boston Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. A Celebration of her wonderful life will be held after. It being her wish there will be no visiting hours.
