Obituary for Carol A. Agostino
BILLERICA – Carol A. (O’Rourke) Agostino, age 84, beloved wife of the late Michael N. Agostino died Saturday, June 18 with her family by her side after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Boston, October 13, 1937 a daughter of the late George J. and Anne (Lee) O’Rourke and lived with her husband in Medford before moving to Billerica in 1962.
Carol worked at LLL Insurance in the Pinehurst neighborhood of Billerica for over 25 years. She loved the company of her children and grandchildren, especially around the holidays. Her passion for horseback riding led her to many dude ranches and travels throughout the southwest.
She is survived by one daughter, Joelle Nason and her husband Ken of Dracut; three sons, Michael Agostino and his wife Dawn of Dracut; Steven Agostino and his wife Melanie of Chelmsford and Christopher Agostino and his wife Jennifer of Avondale, PA as well as her six grandchildren, Allen, Tyler, Madison, Larissa, Kaylee and Brendon. She was the sister of the late Maureen Ruffino.
The family would especially like to thank Mackenzie Faria, Noreen Godin and Kelly O’Connell for their love, care and friendship, as well as the caring staff and management at The Arbors at Dracut.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4 – 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd. Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to theAlzheimers Assn or to All Care Hospice
