Obituary for Carol A. Bickford
Carol A. Bickford – Of Billerica, wife of the late Charles E. Bickford Jr. died Friday at the Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Melrose, October 10, 1938, a daughter of late Paul and Ethel (Heath) Perkins and lived in Wakefield before moving to Billerica in 1975. Carol enjoyed going to the Billerica Senior Center.
She is survived by her sons, Ken Bickford of Billerica, Kevin Bickford of Hudson, Iowa and Mark Bickford and his wife Marlene of Billerica; her brothers, George Perkins of Barrington, NH and Larry Perkins of Newton, NH; her sisters, Lollie Essery of Saugus, Sylvia Osgood of Boscawen, NH and Shirley Powell of Georgetown and is also survived by her seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
At the request of the family all funeral arrangements will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in Carol’s name to the Billerica Community Pantry, P.O. Box 285, Billerica, MA 01821.
