Carl L. Loncich – age 80, beloved husband of Joan C. (Collins) Loncich died peacefully Wednesday, December 18 at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington with his family at his side.
He was born in Medford, February 6, 1944 a son of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Inghram) Loncich and was raised in Woburn and moved to Billerica 57 years ago. Carl proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Prior to his retirement in 2008, Carl was employed as a Machinist for the A.W. Chesterton Company having worked in Stoneham for 28 years.
Besides his wife, Carl is survived by his daughter, Karen Robinson and her husband Dave of Billerica; his daughter-in-law, Ami Loncich and her companion, Jerry Aldrich of Billerica; his grandchildren, Mark Loncich Jr. and Brady Aldrich and his beloved dog, Remy. He was the father of the late Mark Loncich Sr. and brother of the late Joseph and Robert Loncich.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Dec. 21 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. His burial with military honors will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
