Obituary for Brian Ward
Brian Ward, age 52, beloved husband of Ranal J. (Dutile) Ward died unexpectedly Thursday July 14, 2022.
He was born in Malden a son of Rosemary (Gallagher) Ward of Tewksbury and her fiancé the late Michael Benullo of Tewksbury and the late William Ward of Florida.
Brian attended Tewksbury Schools and was a graduate from the Shawsheen Technical High School in Billerica with the class of 1987.
He was currently employed with Local #327 as a union carpenter. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf, watching all New England sports teams and traveling with his family.
His ultimate passion was to entertain with his wife and host cookouts while being a master mixologist and grill master. Most importantly was spending time with his family and friends.
Besides his wife and mother he is survived by two sons, Brian Ward of Litchfield, NH and Timothy Ward of Billerica; his brother, William Ward of Oceanside, CA; one sister Kristin Noone of Billerica as well as his mother-in-law Patrice Dutile, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. He was the brother of the late Kevin P. Ward of N. Andover and son-in-law of the late Frederick Dutile
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday July 20, 2022 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4 – 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St. Tewksbury, Thursday July 21, 2022 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. To honor his love of Scally Caps and his Irish heritage if you have one please wear it.
