Brenda L. (MacDougall) Cooper – Age 74, died Sunday, December 15th at her home in Billerica, surrounded by her family.
Born in Lowell on January 26, 1950, Brenda was a daughter of the late Stanley P. and Lillian E. (Lawson) MacDougall. She was a life-long resident of Billerica and retired after 20 years of service from Market Basket. She was an avid outdoorswoman who loved camping and had done all her life.
Brenda is survived by her long-time partner John Brescia of Billerica; her sons, Ronald Cooper, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Hudson, NH, Craig Cooper and his wife Tammy of Georgia, Eric Cooper and his wife Jessica of Billerica; siblings, Gary MacDougall and his wife Eileen of Seekonk, Brian MacDougall, of Maine, and Mary Gerrosie, and her husband Charlie of Billerica; her grandchildren, Cortney, Brandon, and Josiah. In addition to her parents, Brenda was predeceased by her husband Ronald R. Cooper, her granddaughter Kylie Cooper, and her brother Paul MacDougall.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19th at Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Road, Billerica from 11-12 p.m. A graveside service will follow in Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Road, Billerica at 12:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Shriners Hospitals for Children at www.donate.lovetotherescue.org.
