Obituary for Blanche M. Cote
Blanche May (Duffell) Cote, age 95, beloved wife of Clement J. and mother of Robert A. Cote and grandmother of Jeffrey A. Cote died Sunday at her home with her family by her side.
Blanche was the only child of Godfrey and Nellie May Duffell. She was born on August 15, 1923 and lived her early life in Somerville, MA graduating from Somerville high school in 1941 and had worked at Raytheon, South Lowell in the human relations department.
Blanche was a long time member of Grace Chapel in Lexington and was a councilor at the Billy Graham crusade in Boston at Nickerson Field. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed many crafts and working in her garden.
Blanche volunteered many years at the library of the Hajjar Elementary School in North Billerica and enjoyed summers with her family and friends at Ocean Park, Maine.
COTE – Of Billerica, formerly of Somerville, Sept 23, Blanche May (Duffell) Cote. A Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 26 at Grace Chapel, 59 Worthen Rd., Lexington from 10 – 11 a.m. with a service to be held at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial will follow in Tewksbury Cemetery.
