Bethel A. Catton – age 76, beloved wife of Robert L. Catton died peacefully Tuesday, October 28 at the Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge.
She was born in Waltham, June 10, 1949, a daughter of the late Robert G. and Vernette E. (Daniels) Walsh and was raised in Waltham and later moved to Lowell and then to Billerica 53 years ago.
Bethel was employed as a License Practicing Nurse having worked at many area nursing homes for over 20 years prior to her retirement.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons, Charles L. Catton and his wife Danielle (Mattie) of Franklin, NH and Robert L. Catton Jr. and his wife Kimberly (Huber) of Tyngsborough and her grandchildren, Courtney Ballard, Hunter Catton, Dawson Catton and her great grandson, William Ballard.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, November 8, at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1-4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Bethel’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org
