Barbara A. (O’Donnell) Sanises, age 75, beloved wife of Edward Sanises died Sunday December 4 at their home after a brief illness
She was born in Boston, February 16, 1947 a daughter of the late William and Barbara (Saur) O’Donnell and lived in Dorchester before moving to Billerica in 1963.
Barbara loved life and she enjoyed getting fried dough and fudge at the beach, Christmas, decorating her house for the holidays, reading, listening to music like Elvis and country western, spoiling her beloved dog Cash, and she especially loved spending time with her family and friends. Barbara loved playing Hatchlings, and other internet games where she made over 1000 friends who she kept in touch with over the years.
Besides her husband she is survived by her twin daughters, Lisa Sullivan and Lori Sanises, both of Billerica; one son Edward Sanises Jr and wife Michelle of Methuen; two brothers, Stephen O’Donnell and his wife Robin, and David O’Donnell and his wife Carolyn both of Maine; six grandchildren, Darian and her husband Tyler, James and his wife Carla, Nicholas and his wife Nicole, Heather, Malori, and Emily; and her four great grandchildren. Barbara is predeceased by her brother, Denis O’Donnell, and many loved aunts and uncles.
A Graveside service will be held Friday, December 9, 2022, at Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 12 noon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited."
